Nov 15, 2021

From the 11:15am Mass on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Our Lady of Sorrows in Farmington.

As we come to a close of the liturgical year, our readings are more and more apocalyptic. Today, the Lord tells the Prophet Daniel that in the end some "shall be an everlasting horror and disgrace," others shall "shine brightly" and "be like the stars forever" (Daniel 12:2-3).

Each and everyone of us will either wind up an "everlasting horror," patterned after the devil himself. Or we shall "shine brightly...like the stars forever," beautified by God Himself. What do we choose? Are we with Christ, or are we keeping our distance from Him?
